NEW INGREDIENT OF THE YEAR - 4 years in a row!

We're no stranger to the PAPA Awards, having won New Ingredient of the Year for the past four years in a row!  

First it was a porcini mushroom sauce in 2008; 2009 witnessed the introduction of 'nduja, a spicy salami spread from Calabria, which seems to be finally catching on in the mainstream food industry; last year we delighted the judges with SunBlush Red & Yellow Baby Plum Tomatoes, that can be found on pizzas, in pastas or on restaurant menus up and down the country now.

Our 2011 entry of Wild Mushroom & Truffle paste beat off the competition to achieve our 4th New Ingredient of the Year award in a row, something we are extremely proud of.  Innovation does not come easily to many, but we work very hard with hundreds of suppliers across the world in producing products that are different, solve a culinary problem or simply do it better than the rest, and we would like acknowledge all that have been involved in bringing this award-winning product to the marketplace.
